Reversed polarity. *by T***. on Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2017* These will not work as replacement to existing or missing outlets as the polarity is reversed. The + or hot lead is the enclosed wire and when attached to exiting solar or other outlets connects to the - negative outlet. The Positive outlet on all wiring is covered or enclosed to prevent accidental shorting and will only accept the male exposed thermal. You can of course simply take the red and black clip covers and reverse them but the fuse will be on the negative side. Refer to attached pics. The built in fuse is a nice feature, that would have prevented my need for this product if I'd had an inline fuse on my other set.
