As I know, there is no strap inside the helmet, but you can make one by yourself. **Q: Is there somewhere on the inside to attach a chin strap?** A: no, there is chin strap, but you can add one strap at the wings' ends. **Q: How do you assemble the wings with the helmet? They seem to wide for the slots.** A: it's easy to assemble the wings, just to put them in the slots. **Q: Does the helmet look like the gray in the first photo or the second photo?** A: Kind of in between the two. It's not a dark as the second photo, not as bright as the first photo, but it's closer to the first photo. It doesn't look bad though. People compliment my dad on it all the time, so the color isn't super fake looking in my experience. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceeded Expectations! *by M***T on October 11, 2016* This helmet is AWESOME. Was a little concerned that it wouldn't live up to the price, but it is both collector item quality as well as cosplay quality, so I'm sure I'll get my money's worth out of its costume and display value. I may or may not have worn it around the house for hours after receiving it (totally did), and I am a grown man.Just on the technical side, the PVC material of the helmet itself is somewhat flexible (but not enough that it flops around) and the wings, which are resin, almost feel like metal. They are very high quality and detailed, and they come detached from the helmet. The only somewhat tricky part is attaching them, as there are no instructions. You just push the tabs into the holes on the helmet, but you have to sort of force them through. Once in they stay with no issues! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Does the job, but could be a little cheaper. *by P***A on October 27, 2017* The price is a little steep for what you get. $60-$75 would have been much better because of the materials and simplicity of the item . The paint is ok. A few small cracks in a few places where the rim meets the dome. The PVC plastic is thick and tough, but easily misshapen in spots.The rim that goes around is a bit warped/bent especially in the back. It's not as straight and flat as the image. I'm sure that varies from order to order, so be aware.The wings are thick and look nice, but can easily be broken during installation. You have to be somewhat forceful to stick it in the holes. One of mine snapped right in two. It glues together easy enough, but really? I'm not that strong. Each wing has a pair of holes it goes through. One on the top, and one under the rim. Gotta be careful with the lower holes as the plastic that makes them up is very thin on the inner side. They can break if you're not careful.No chinstrap, but it sits on my head nicely. I'm 5'11" and i'd say my head is average size. Without a strap it's still pretty good, just don't make a lot of crazy head moves. I can always add a strap too easily enough.If you need something quick like I did, then it's an ok choice. ### ⭐ Not what I expected *by R***A on August 21, 2016* The Wings were nice, despite one being broken. The actual helmet though was crudely painted with spots missing paint. The visor if you wish to call it that I don't know what the actual name is, folds over in a thick and unflattering way that is not visible from the pictures provided.
