The cable connection is keyed, so if you try to connect the wrong connector into the wrong port, it wont fit. The PSU limits are determined by your hardware requirements. Same product both had unbearable squealing/coil whine which is a shame considering it boasts the quiet performance. I tried everything to get rid of the noise, it was like a bird chirping even whilst the system was idle. Don't go through the pain I did.
