The handles are light weight and seem fragile, but the brush/hair part is quite thick and holds paint well. The painting experience is quite good - which is why I gave it 4 stars. The original price is quoted as 900/- and I bought it at a discounted price of 388/-. Though, in my opinion, 388/- is probably the right price for it any way.
