I am headed out next week for an extended camping trip so I will add comments from the field. In the meantime I wanted to comment on this stove’s quality build. First it is expensive. A few hundred dollars more than anything I looked at and their videos and product descriptions worked on me. I’m going to be using It heavily during the next few years so I really need it to hold up. Next it comes in this cool wooden crate that holds every nice and snug. Right off you notice companies don’t do things like this anymore it really stands out. Next was the sheer weight of it. Something I read said it weighed 30 lbs. Either I have grown old and sickly or this s.o.b. weighs way more than 30 pounds. My point is the metal used on the stove is not the usual thin cheap metal from China that we’ve been subjected to for years. It’s so pretty I hate to actually build a fire in it. If my girlfriend was here she would want to use it as a makeup table it’s so shiny. Oh sorry…the metal is substantial and the welds are really nice. Every piece I’ve looked at is professionally made and assembled. The heat shields come off and on easily and all the parts functions as you would expect…. I’m interested to see if anything warps or bulges from the heat changing those attributes. We will see in about 4 more days. So far easily 5 stars. I will add more to this review as the stove gets used. Review: RBM stove medium - Love this stove. Works super well looks stunning. Kept me warm all winter in the old rv and am still using it. Used the top to cook on. The view of the fire all around is wonderful came with steel sides to replace the glass and an asbestos seal for it just for safety out in the field very convenient and might save a life if winter camping somewhere remote. That’s thoughtful. Came with a nice carrying pouch to store it when not in use. That’s made well also. And there are guard pieces as well if you want to put them up alongside the glass. There’s a guard on the back and underside of the stove. A large cloth to set the stove on is included . I used it around the stovepipe venting area on my ceiling in this RV. My stove has the square door which I prefer. The vent on the door works flawlessly well and I do find the baffle inside to be a great plus. Great quality stove! I’d purchase again, no problem. Wish I had the nice hot tent they sell! On my by bucket list. Nice quality made product.
