From Roy's review: "To adjust this gauge, take the big screw off of the end, and then pry out the plastic discs with the little holes in the center. Now slide the cartridge out. Take the big screw off the end of the cartridge, and use a little screwdriver to adjust the gauge. 1/2 turn = about 5 psi at the low (30-40 lb) end of the scale. A little trial and error checking against a gauge you trust at the pressures you’re checking... and you’re done." It definitely helped me, I just calibrated mine and it's dead on. I'll add that you want to turn the screw clockwise to decrease and counterclockwise to increase the reading. **Q: how do you switch from straight to angled head?** A: You don't. The angled head is for checking a truck dual when the valve stem is facing away from you. You go behind it with the angle head and pull it toward you. **Q: Can any sort of Presta adapter be used with this inflator?** A: Yes, I use it on Presta & Schrader valves on my bicycle tires. **Q: Has anyone used this with a presta adapter?** A: this is an automotive style so it has a schrader valve fitting. Look for a presta valve adapter. They are cheap, buy two they're small so you're going to lose it.
