However, if you were to put a clamp on the cord inside the cover just above the bottom of it that would prevent the cord from being pulled out. **Q: Is it against the code to use this indoors? I don't want to have issues down the road when selling the house.** A: I wouldn't think so but you could always buy a regular indoor cover for about a $1 and keep in a drawer. Then if someone says something, it would take about 2 minutes to take this one off and throw the other one on there. The main purpose of this cover is to protect from water.
