They are clear and easy to focus and use in many ways. The twist out eyepieces make it easy to switch from glasses to no glasses. The lens covers are attached so that they are easily removed in a hurry if needed. They are small enough to readily put in a jacket pocket. The indentures for your thumb placement were a thoughtful addition and makes them very comfortable to hold for long periods.
