I lost weight and needed to buy a smaller size. This jacket is so soft, and lined with a smooth quilted fabric which I like better than a fleece lined jacket. It is soft and great for everyday wear. It is not heavy and stiff like the oiled canvas type jackets but it is warm and soft. I especially like the inner zipper and buttons too, so you can keep wind out. This color jacket has the darker good which will not show dirt as much as the lighter colored jacket hoodies. I would not wear this jacket in a rainstorm, because it is not waterproof, but it is my favorite jacket in winter, if it is not raining.
