Covers threads keeping water, mud and rust off of them over factory open ended nuts. Looks better than OEM bare steel especially with alloy rims, did I say I can fit socket on without scratching rims. 😉 Definitely easier to install than OEM nuts are, I had to find a really thin wall socket to use with OEM nuts Rust resistance not sure yet, to short of use still.

Good price, appears to be good quality. Definitely easier to get socket on these without scratching rims on 4 wheeler.
