The description says it weighs 3.5 ounces and you can see in my picture it weighs 8.4 ounces, more than double what I thought. I specifically ordered this particular bag because of its weight and because it doesn't weigh what they advertised I am very disappointed. In the backpacking world a half a pound is a lot of weight! Bummer :( ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ surprisingly roomy + well designed kit *by D***X on Reviewed in the United States on September 3, 2016* I have to say this exceeded my expectations. Shockingly roomy and, with the exception of my cosmetics, I got everything in here for myself and my ten year-old son. (His daddy and big brother are in charge of their own toiletries.) I do have some travel size containers, but I was also able to include full-size deodorant, full-size sunscreen, full-size toothpastes (2), my electric toothbrush (and its charging base), and lots more (razor, earplugs, face soap, body lotion, etc.). I like the mesh pocket at the bottom -- that is where I stored our toothbrushes, and I appreciate the see-through nature of all the pockets. Because I am a hardcore fuchsia lover my only disappointment is that the bag is mostly black, just fuchsia accents .... But that is churlish given how commodious and convenient this is.
