Just keep the bike clean and then grit won’t rub on the frame between the clamps. No issues with tightening on frame. **Q: Im 6'8" on an XL frame and 29" tires, would anyone know if my knees would be in the way of the childs seat?** A: Even at shorter heights (I’m 5’10”) you’ll have to pedal β€œaround” your kiddo a bit. The seat isn’t too intrusive and you’ll just have your knees/legs alongside as opposed behind the Shotgun.
