At 5'8" with this 15" bag, the length of it doesn't cross my back enough for a proper fit, particularly where the strap wraps at the side and across my chest. I worked fine on my shoulder, particuarly when carried the opposite way (with the bag at the front and strap at the back), but this isn't my preference for bags. I returned this and tried the FUL Ditty (also to be returned, see other review) and the Ameribag Distressed Nylon in Small and Large Baglett, both of which are keepers (see their reviews). They fall off, it's hard to find things in the bottom of them, they are uncomfortable to carry, or you are constantly switching purses when you just need to run to the grocery store. No thanks!
