I tried The Ordinary 10% Niacinamide with Zinc, but after just a few days I found the concentration too harsh on my skin: my forehead became really dry and a bit tender to touch. Because I'd already tried the Promoisturiser by 28 Day Skin, I decided to give this a try and it felt better straight away. The 5% concentration is apparently ideal, according to dermatologists - it's effective without drying and the Aloe Vera extract and N-Acetyl Glucosamine add more soothing and hydrating ingredients.I've heard before that niacinamide can minimise the look of pores and after a few nights of use I could really see a less textured look on my forehead. It felt smoother to touch and less greasy, but not dry. The acne-fighting properties of niacinamide were also clear because I noticed how few red spots I was getting around my chin - I was used to always getting minor breakouts in this area. Though the 10ml contents didn't seem like a lot at first, serums tend to last much longer than creams and I can cover my face with about three drops. I've been using the product for a few weeks now and it's still going strong. I apply the 28 Day Skin Promoisturiser afterwards, which is a non-comedogenic cream. A few people have already said how much better my skin looks and my pigmentation scarring from breakouts is really beginning to fade; there's no doubt I'll be using both of their products for as long as they're available. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked a treat! *by R***Y on 22 September 2020* I bought this for my daughter who was paranoid about tiny bumps on her forehead. She researched a lot of products and found out that the niacinimide would help. I wanted a product that contained enough to help but not too much to cause any other problems.
