It has a battery pack similar to a drill, I turned the power button on and it took very little time for the glue to heat up and yes the glue was VERY hot. I like I didn't have to click it back into a stand and even better no cord. I purchased the one that came with glue sticks but my old ones fit perfectly the only thing that would be great is a carry case.

I like this glue gun. It has a battery pack similar to a drill, I turned the power button on and it took very little time for the glue to heat up and yes the glue was VERY hot. I like I didn't have to click it back into a stand and even better no cord. I purchased the one that came with glue sticks but my old ones fit perfectly the only thing that would be great is a carry case.

This is an upgrade for me-I used to have a mini glue gun (with the cord attached). Having a cordless glue gun makes all the difference. I like that it has a stand that I can set it on so that I don't have to worry about me or someone else getting hurt. I recommend this glue gun.
