The low profile is awesome because my doors are too close to the floor and will not open with higher profile entrance mat. The rubber bottom is very nice feature because I have laminate flooring and would not want a wet soaked entrance mat to ruin my floors. I do live in a very wet area so mud, water from wet shoes, snow, pebbles, etc all make their way inside...without this entrance mat my floors would be totally ruined. The downside is that the rubber bottom looks out of place in a private home. We also have 3 dogs and the two big dogs have taken a liking to the mats and lay on them frequently. With 3 dogs and 4 adults, there is alot of traffic. I thought these would hold up better than they appear to. I bought these in October 2022 and the mat show visible wear and tear already in the most popular spot for entering and exiting the entrances.
