The conditioner left my dog's fur soft and smelling nice, though there was still the unavoidable undercurrent of wet dog. The combination of shampoo and conditioner also made my dog lick and scratch himself less for a few days. I previously worried that frequent, weekly baths would only dry out my dog's skin and make it worse, but the conditioner seems to prevent that.
