This product is a 2 type set. "Tenugui" are a type of traditional Japanese towel. Since tenugui have a smooth texture that is unlike typical Western terrycloth towels, they can be used in various ways other than just drying hands or bodies. Use instead of a towel or handkerchief or to wrap plastic bottles or wrap gifts, or Wear around the head instead of a bandanna or headband, or Wear around the neck instead of a scarf, or instead of a place mat. Other than the uses above, tenugui can be used in many more ways, including being used as masks or as strainers. Find your own unique way of using tenugui! The edges are unfinished and will tend to unravel for about 3-5mm. Don't pull loose threads (use scissors to cut them if they are a nuisance).

I use these tenugui to wear on my head during workouts. They are absorbent, and prevent the sweat from running into my eyes, and the adorable patterns with the skulls and the little plovers over the water are just that: adorable.
