This is more for people who want a glossy lip at first and feels natural after a while. **Q: Is this product supposed to come with a tamper proof seal?** A: I called Maybelline, after the second tube was also sent the same way as the first one, that I tossed and was refunded for - NO PACKAGING. Maybelline said that the tube doesn't have packaging or a safety seal and that if it looks unused, it's safe to use. Just felt I had to respond to my first response and let you know. **Q: does it show up bright red?** A: Then red revival shows up as a medium red between bright and dark. Very close to the picture shown. The colour is gorgeous, and it’s exactly what I was looking for. There’s a decent amount of pigment to it, and although it is matte, it’s not as matte as I expected it to be. It does have a strong smell and that takes quite a while to wear off or become unnoticeable. The biggest issue for me is that it just doesn’t last and needs to be reapplied frequently, or you end up with what looks like dark lipliner around your lips and nothing else.
