Handles all of my blow jobs
After figuring out how to attach the straw and small brush, (it works, it's just really a really tight fit and thank god for that because the airflow is serious--you wouldn't want an attachment getting loose), I used this thing on my computer's keyboard and it was great. But then I started eyeballing what else I could try it on and ended up watching dustballs come flying out of a 1966 Gibson hollow body guitar that were probably there since around 1967. What was in that dust? I probably just released spores from a long-dormant virus and I've sealed mankind's fate by awakening some toxic monster, but you know what?Worth it.

you will get your moneys worth in a day if you're anything like me. I mean
There is absolutely no reason to buy canned air.I knew this was a powerful blower given the cfm, but I did underestimate it.Spend $50 on it, you will get your moneys worth in a day if you're anything like me. I mean, I bought this to dust out the inside of my computer and it was so strong I was like "man, I don't want to stop using this thing, what else can I dust?" So, I went crazy, I dusted all of my electronics, my ceiling fans, the inside of my cars, my garage... I know right, even my garage.Three hours later my roommate was like "Rone, what the heck are you doing with that blower man? You've been using it for like three hours?" to which I replied "word, three hours?" and continued to dust my entire house.10/10 much better than canned air.

This little bastard right here is one of the best investments I've ever made
This little bastard right here is one of the best investments I've ever made. Due to the fact that I have a display computer, I'm constantly cleaning dust out of it. With a total of 12 fans, Red Blaze (the computer) gets dusty rather fast. The problem with canned air is it's expensive and gets depleted. This thing plugs in and provides the same force (if not better) as a can of air and continuously works. It doesn't get ultra cold and lose pressure. it doesn't get exhausted where you have to buy more. I'd HIGHLY recommend this if you're crazy about dusting your computer like I have been. There is no reason to ever buy another can of air again IMO.

Great thing for stuff
All the bad reviews are by idiotic people. “You can’t use the straw attachment, the whole reason I bought it”. Really? So I didn’t figure out how to attach it within seconds? “This is too powerful to clean computers” Wrong again it works excellent, the only thing I recommend is holding the fans so they do not spin.“My unit broke on the 4th use.” Maybe you should clean the air filter? You know this air keeps the motor cool right?Anyway this thing is great and it came a day early. I cleaned my computer with it way easier than with air duster. Any bad reviews is just a rare case of a defective product or user error or idiocy.

Coming from a DataVac owner, buy this one instead.
I just purchased this because I thought my Datavac vacuum died but in fact there was just a loose bolt inside but I'll end up keeping this one anyways. Compared to the Datavac ED500, the Xpower is slightly lighter (2lb as opposed to 2.4 lbs) but constructed out of plastic instead of metal. I actually own two Datavacs and I can confirm what everyone is saying about its design flaw being that air leaks out between the seams where the two metal housings are connected. The Datavac also has an awkward location for the power button compared to the Xpower's which is where you think it would be. The Xpower however doesn't have a notch in the cable to hold the cable in place when it's wrapped up like the Datavac. The Datavac also has indented grips on its handle and the Xpower does not, although I still felt the Xpower was more comfortable to hold because the handle is actually bigger in size. For power, the Xpower has a slight edge over the Datavac given that the motor is slightly more powerful and it doesn't have the leak problem like the Datavac. The Xpower is also surprisingly more quiet than the Datavac and I think this is because the unit is sealed up properly, helping with the noise. So to sum it up.XPowerPros: Quieter than the Datavac, more powerful, lighter, easier to hold, better attachments, cheaperCons: Cord feels less durable(also not as long), Made in China (maybe you'll care maybe you won't)DataVac:Pros: Feels well built, Made in U.S.A, durable cord, overall durability (have owned one unit almost 2 years) still very powerful.Cons: Heat build up from prolonged use, leak issues, HEAVYIf you care more about where it's made, then the DataVac will do just fine, I still plan on keeping all three anyways. The XPower is way better for the money so long as stands the test of time.

Wow, this thing is insane!
As most computer builders / users, I used to use compressed air to chase out the dust bunnies that collected in cases and the gunk that got caught up in the fans. I'd heard about this product from a YTer and decided to give it a go. It seemed like a lot of money considering I was just going to use it for electronics, but I figured it would eventually pay for itself if I never had to use compressed air again.Let me tell you something. It didn't just blow out the dust...it rampaged after it like a crazed gorilla! This unit has 2 settings and all I needed was Setting I which immediately blew massive amounts of dust out of the cases of my machines. It was...insane.Just for funsies, I tried Setting II and it felt like a hurricane was bearing down inside my apartment. The curtains wept in fear and even heavy, sturdy items were like "What in God's name was that!" In other words, you probably won't need Setting II if you are just cleaning out computers. It comes with several attachments and a good sized bag where you can store it and all the attachments while not in use.It can eat over 500 watts so it's got some power to it. The cord is also fairly long so you shouldn't need any sort of extension cord unless you're using it in a pretty large room.Is it worth it? Yes. Is it amazing? Yes. Is it loud? Well...yeah. Is it worth the price? I think so.

Moved less air than expected, high cost, well-built/sturdy and loud, assortment of attachments
There were surprisingly few choices on amazon for electric duster and I bought this based on the good reviews and specs. I've been using the canned duster for more than 20+ yrs ever since they became available from a local wholesaler chain and they've been working great; however, I've been meaning to break the chain of 'refilling' for a while now and I hope this is it.Build - it appeared to be well-built and the handle seemed sturdy as well. It didn't feel awkward holding it in my hand while operating (moving it around cleaning the keyboard etc) the duster. The power cord is about 3 meters (10 ft) in length and it's long enough for me to be able to move around freely.Spec/feature - it came with quite a few attachments/nozzles; however, for the most part the only ones that are useful for me are the detail brush and/or air blade nozzle. I've tried a few electric dusters in the past but none of them lived up to the expectation (a few were close but not good enough) so I'm no stranger to electric dusters. While many aspects of a product matter, the crucial thing I really care about is the amount of air it can move in CMM (cubic meters/min) or CFM or cubic feet/min).First thing first, this duster has 2 settings (low and high). At the low setting, it moved air at 20.65 m/s (as seen in the first picture) across a nozzle diameter of 23.9mm. At the high setting, it moved air at 23.88 m/s. If you consider the advertised RPM (35K vs 40K), then it was right within the claimed value. As a comparison, I also tested one of my air mattress pumps just to see how well/bad it performed; otherwise, these numbers would mean little or nothing for me if I don't have a baseline to compare it against.NOTE: I decided to remove references to brand/make/model because I don't want the review to be flagged by Amazon review team thinking there was promotion content when in fact it was just part of natural speech in an unbiased review. I have absolutely no interests in promoting anything nor do I need to; however, I do believe it's necessary to make comparisons against something most people (me included) are familiar with in order to make the numbers meaningful for people and to bring value into the review. To summarize its air-moving capability;78.52 CFM <- 20.65 m/s, XPower (low setting)90.80 CFM <- 23.88 m/s, XPower (high setting),43.79 CFM <- 20.08 m/s, Air mattress pumpIf you are wondering why the mattress pump only moved 43.79 CFM even though it achieved 20.08 m/s, well, it's because it had smaller diameter through which the air was moving; consequently, it moved far less air than the duster.Noise - again, at the low setting, it registered 90.6 dB (as seen in the picture) with an ambient background of 47.4 dB (not the quietest). At the high setting, it registered 98.2 dB while a canister vacuum registered 86.6 dB for comparison (because we all know roughly how loud a vacuum is). In short, the duster was LOUD and that's to be expected for something that moved air at such speed.Again, the following summarizes the noise level for those who are concerned about loudness; all measurements were taken at about 30cm / 1ft away from the detector.47.4 dB, ambient noise90.6 dB, XPower (low setting)98.2 dB, XPower (high setting)102.2 dB, XX Air mattress pump86.6 dB, XX Canister VacuumKeep in mind that both the duster and the pump would naturally sound LOUDER because they are usually at/within an arm's length while being operated whereas the vacuum is usually on the floor perhaps 4-6 ft away. Also, none of the measurements were absolute; what I wanted to know simply was relative values so I could compare them with things I knew. All things considered, it's not a bad electric duster; however, I expected it to be able to move much more air than it did given how much it cost and the fact that this is a AC-powered electric 'duster' that's exclusively designed for this (and not just a mattress pump pretending to be one), whose sole purpose is to move air for cleaning purposes. As such, I'm not entirely certain it has high enough value or is worthy of an investment for me at the moment.*** It's much appreciated if you found the review helpful, please click on the Helpful button below ***

Una opcion para los entusiastas en el mantenimiento TI
Your browser does not support HTML5 video.

Goodbye disposable canned air, and 3 cheers for the environment!
This little hand held power duster, is great. It gives you as much if not more pressure for dusting those electronics off as canned air. Only unlike with canned air there is no waste and it won't run out (short of you forgetting to pay the power bill). And it will also never spray moisture out regardless of what angle it is used at. When you want to really focus on an area, you don't have to concern yourself that you might run out early if not used efficiently either. And not having an arisol can to toss out after ward is a great boon for the environment. Possibly the best feature though is the one time cost. @$70CAD this little guy will pay for himself in not time flat. It's an investment.Cons, none.I have read in other reviews that it is loud. Yep that's 100% truth, but who expects a blower to be quiet? That's failed logic there. Don't use it next to a sleeping baby I guess lol I also read the attachments did not fit together. People need to put in more effort, the press fit together tightly so they do not blow off the end when in use. If you cannot fit them together, forget leg day... quit skipping gym day! :PI highly recommend this for anyone that owns electronics that accumulate dust (I got it primarily for my self built PC) and can potentially have thermal related damage due to it's insulating qualities. 6 out of 5 stars!!!

120V only Model
Note that this is a 120v USA voltage only model,You will need a step-up converter to use. This is not explained in the item description, use with a UK 240v supply will damage the unit.
