I have a 65 lb rescue mix (looks most like a German Pinscher) that only a classic metal choke collar would work. She took on a gentle leader, her neck was strong enough that her neck would not pull towards me, If I stopped she just pulled and pulled, it was amazing. I guess real metal choke collars are considered inhumane by some ((?), but my dog is one tough dog and the choke collar worked,. I am looking into this type of no pull simply because getting the choke on and off is difficult.
