## Description

Product description Commonly used for tightening head bolts and other bolts where a torque angle is required. 360 Degree angle scale in 2 degree increments. Adjustable arm for flexibility of use. For use with 1/2-Inch drive tools.

Review: Tool was used on torquing new cylinder head -- worked great! - I just finished replacing the left cylinder head on my Jeep Wrangler. The Mopar torquing procedure called for torquing each bolt 70 degrees, then another 75 degrees. I would never have been able to estimate these angels without this tool. It is well made and all metal construction. The ratchet attachment shaft appears to be alloy steel. Anyway, I put a tremendous amount of pressure on it with a 2-foot cheater bar. It worked great and the degree plate stabilizing arm worked fine - it was plenty stiff enough to hold the plate still. Be warned however that if the arm gets bumped in use, it will throw off the degree setting. The markings are pretty small -360-degree graduations on a 3" disc, so I marked the required settings on the edge of the disc with a marker. The only precaution I would offer is the need to apply light pressure on the socket, gauge, and ratchet, to remove the slack in the assembly, then set the pointer to zero degrees. If you don't, you can be off 10 degrees or more when you start torquing... The other reviewer's comments on damage to the degree sticker on the disc is a possibility, but you get two extra stickers with the tool. If you use it a lot, you could eventually lose the markings though. Anyway, I can highly recommend it - especially at that price point.
Review: torque angle lifesaver - needed to torque angle some diesel injector hold down clamps to162°. no way to just count flats so I ordered this for next day delivery. it's actually quite nice, and even comes with extra dial numbers if you damage the installed set. worked perfectly and smoothly. The metal flex shaft works much better than the L brackets on others.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What country is it made in?**
A: I don't know for sure, I would guess China like everything else. This tool is much better quality than the part store junk, I don't care much about where it's made as long as it does the job and this tool just works for me. Better than the ones with the little arm that's suppose to hold it.

**Q: Does it come with instructions**
A: Ours did not come with instructions but they aren't needed. You simply use the clamp to secure it at the desired position, set the dial to 0* and then turn it to the desired degree angle.

**Q: Does the "clip arm" have to be in a position where it is completely tight? And does it have to be up against something that is capable of stopping it?**
A: All you have to do it clamp the alligator clip to anything. After that, the flexible part has enough resistance that it doesn't move when turning the wrench. Works really well. Way better than the other kind. Use it all the time to stretch aluminum bolts on my BMW. My only compliant is I wish they made a smaller version for 3/8 or 1/4 drive for doing smaller bolts in tight places. I have used extensions in those situations which still seems to be pretty accurate.

**Q: Does this work well on a crankshaft pulley bolt need 125 degree?**
A: This absolutely works well for pully bolts. Just finished a head gasket job and it worked perfectly for my camshaft pully bolt. It was a 90° torque setting. Buy with confidence. Very easy to use and very well-made.
