I suspect the only reason for limiting your load to 60 lbs. is capacity of your tractor. Mounted to a strong enough frame, I suspect this carrier could support me. I'm 235 lbs. The platform is small 30" X18". Within that limitation it is a great purchase. I have to add to my review:. Since purchasing this carrier I installed a sleeve hitch on my Cub Cadet. Using a 5/16 the U bolt on top and a 1/2 eye bolt on the bottom I was able to affix the hitch portion of this to my sleeve hitch. Now I can use attachments that fit into a 2 inch receiver as well as the stuff that normally attaches to a sleeve hitch. If you price 2 inch to sleeve hitch adapters on desertcart they run from $70 to $100. For someone who needs a carrier for a lawntractor this is an incredible buy. Review: Good quality steel, attachment is ok - Easy to attach to a simple ride on tractor. Good for moving a few bags of mulch. An attachment bolt sheared off during tightening.
