Buy these sticks, they'll save your family "read my review, you'll love it!"
I'm actually a Guitarist of 25 plus years and "not that bad" on drums... Not GREAT but OK but as a musician my kids have decided that they want to learn drums as we have just got a "not too bad" e-drum kit before investing in a decent mesh kit - let's see if the kids A. Lose interest or B. Break it and use it to beat eachother with. The kit came with some 5A sticks made from what seemed like Matchstick wood (Balsa) which turned out to be Maple... Who knew? They broke within about an hour of playing an e-drum kit - though I did have the kids playing "lost in the shadows" from the Lost Boys soundtrack, "Raspberry Beret" by Prince and Slipknot's "Iowa", better chance of keeping them engaged if I taught them to play something quite easy but cool! But being that it's easier to teach them while playing along with the actual song they're aspiring to we have them rigged up to a set of monitors in tandem with the home stereo so the little "Joey Jordisons" can play along and and really feel like little "Metal Monsters".I went looking and didn't realise how many sticks there were out there and the more I trawled and read reviews (including the fake ones) and checked the difference between a 5A and a 5B and the benefits of hickory over maple I realised something..."Not only did my head hurt BUT all this fuss and debate was over... A Stick!... Or rather 2!"I saw bundles of 12 and 6 and read that they were rubbish and then saw another with plastic tips and read that they were also garbage. I saw some with velvet bags and even some with LED's and came to the conclusion that what I really needed were some drum sticks... No lights, no bag, no plastic tips with built in GPS which can cook your dinner and set your laundry off... Just normal drum sticks. What I did need however were something stronger than Maple - so I went with Hickory, which feels really solid when you play.I also needed something thicker than a 7A or the slightly thicker 5A so I went with a 5B which is alot nicer to play with especially if you're a fan of the ole Rock and Heavy Metal.I'm NOT an expert by any means BUT alot of people seem to have a problem with weight distribution which - while teaching the kids - I've had to explain the importance of with regards to time and speed. We have had NO issues in that regard, in fact they feel really nice and the kids have found them easy to "Pivet" (I know that's not the technical term but not being a drummer a can only apologise)My older son like to play classics like Terence Trent Darby's "Wishing Well" as it has a slightly more complicated beat and the sticks sound really nice and feel really lovely to play with. The balance is great, the beats are solid and after an entire afternoon of play with two 6 year olds and a 9 year old - we are still only on set number 1 out of the triple pack I purchased. In short LMAO.... They do actually "ROCK"We're busting out the Ibanez and the Schecter and suting off the Condenser Mic over the weekend as the kids wanna go full Metal Band which I am grateful for - especially given the tripe they listen to these days.I was starting to doubt I'd ever lure them back over to the "Dark Side" and now they're slowly returning to their roots and so guess it's down to these sticks...So not only are they great value for money, they're durable and have allowed me to reconnect with my kids so I guess I owe you guys a great big "Thank You!"Wow!Now I know this review was a tad long winded but drum sticks are unnecessarily complicated as are their reviews so I thought I'd write one which was "Real & True", actually told you something and entertained you too."Buy these Sticks, they'll save your family!"Lmao*Tips Hat*

Small risk but generally OK
I've bought around 6 lots of these sticks now. They generally last a couple of weeks, playing for couple hours every day, but if you are unlucky then that's that. I have had a couple of pairs that lasted one song but the rest have been fine. On the other hand I bought a real pair of promark from a reputable dealer that snapped within 20 minutes too, so it's a risk, yes but generally pays off in my experience.Review written when price for 3 was£17.... Not £26!!!!

VALUE FOR MONEY
Great product, nice weight. Although I haven't road tested the sticks fully they look durable. One thing I will add, but only minor, where the nylon tips meet the stick the collar of the tip is a little rough as though they haven't been finished off properly?

Value for money
Wasn't sure what to expect when ordering these sticks but I'm pleasantly suprised, I've had three full band rehearsals (and I'm a heavy player) and I'm still on the first pair of the three and they are holding up really well, if the other two pairs hold up aswell these are the best value sticks on Amazon

I'm a drummer
Honestly, considering the condition of the drums I play on, the sticks have held up well

Awful, fragile sticks
I'll admit I'm a hard hitting drummer but these things just completely snapped upon first use. 5 sticks in one night of rehearsals, all breaking in the same place. Waste of money.

Good sticks,good price.
They hold up well and are well balanced. Nice feel. I'm a professional and give signed sticks out every night so for the price, they are great!

Excelente relacion precio-beneficio
