**Q: will this carrier work with the Minelab Equinox 800?**
A: Yes.

**Q: I suppose if the equinox 800 fits in the bag a 600 will as well? yes?**
A: Yes it will fit. And it had room for other gold gear. Pinpointer. Small gold pan and scoop. And what wlse you ban put in there. I was surprised how big it is. Works great.

**Q: Will this bag fit the S shaped Minelab Vanquish 540 when the shaft is minimized with the coil still attached?**
A: Yes, this carry bag should fit your Vanquish 540 metal detector.

**Q: Is this case approved by the airlines?**
A: Each airlines is different and have different rules or policies.  This is a soft case, not a hard case.  I'm not sure I would put my detector in this case and check it along with the other luggage.  This can be used as a carry-on, but I'm not sure if taking a detector as a carry on is ok with your specific airlines because of the rechargable batteries.  Again, you should call your airlines and discuss with them.

Nice size bag to get the detector in, for the price I would have expected more padding. There are unbranded bags of the same quality for less money.
