Do i need to use locking clips or no?** A: You do not need to use the clips. That are to lock the john guest fittings so that can not come apart. The only time I would suggest using the clips is when used the pipe is on the floor or in a high use area when it could be bumped or so thing pushed against it. Also it you have extremely high water pressure. Over 90 lbs. **Q: What is the temperature rating? Can it handle 180°F water?** A: Yes off course **Q: Isn't it too heavy? Will it break 1/4 line just by hanging?** A: It is very heavy. It's not going to snap the 1/4" line but it will cause sagging in an unsupported run of tubing and might pull on nearby compression fittings. I have mine undersink to monitor my RO system pressure and I supported it with a piece of string.
