The first one was faulty and subsequently replaced by Amazon no problem. The machine is possibly the worst I have ever owned . Good points first : Looks amazing with quality bowls , timer is an excellent addition and warming feature is very helpful when making cakes or buttercream. Bad Points: Spiral dough hook puts too put pressure on the motor and when in use walks the machine around the worktop. Also magnetic cover for attachments drops off at the slightest touch and can easily end up in the mix if you are not careful. Especially if you move the machine when it is moving around on worktop. Maximum dough mix is 2.5 kg which is fine but the motor struggles with 2.2 kg. Would benefit from a standard dough hook. It is definitely not a patch on the kenwood machines I have owned previously.
