I wasn't sure what she would think of this spy costume because it is all black. I had her open it first just in case it wasn't a winner. Well, she was hesitant at first because she thought it was just a black outfit. After I explained it was a spy costume and why it was black. she was all in! She ended up wearing it for our entire celebration and is eager to put it back on whenever she gets the chance so that she can solve her own made-up mysteries incognito. The spy sunglasses were a really big hit too. We ended up making copies of the mystery card and she likes to write out her own mysteries and give herself different code names. She is eager to wear this to her spy friend party coming up as well as for Halloween. It is helpful that the front and the belt are all velcro making it easy to take on and off. Everything fit my now 8-year-old really well!
