I also tried itout on my son who likes to wear his hair like Kurt Cobain from Nirvana. Well, he woke up looking more like Harry Potter! His hair that usuallyhangs there just like mine was so full I had to gel it down. Also, this shampoo has a very light, clean, and healthy smell to it. I usually rotatemy shampoos, but I've already used Beaux Noggins a few days in a row. This seems to be the kind of shampoo used in a beauty salon ratherthan the typical brands we buy anywhere. This is perfect for me because I like a deep cleaning shampoo followed by a lightweight conditioner. On the other hand, my wife has dry hair and was hoping for deeper conditioning. So apparently it depends on your hair type and preferences. One thing that bothers me is that the 8.5 ounce bottle won't last in our shower and it seems a little short sighted to include such a small amount of shampoo. Conditioner, maybe, but shampoo is gone in a flash and with a price of 30 bucks, you deserve more for your money.
