The drawback is that it is not adjustable. I accidentally bought the woman's size. I am 6' and 180 pounds and this should have been under size but actually it is oversize for me - very strange. The toe straps were sized too long to function for me and I cut them off because they were annoying. With experience, I found that the bend was not sharp enough for me - that is, I needed the toes raised higher. I'm a techie and realized that I could make the bend sharper by inserting a pad on the outer surface of the bend. I did this by forcing a folded washcloth between the plastic frame and the cloth lining. This helped significantly. I would like to squeeze in a second folded washcloth to make the angle even sharper but the cloth lining is too tight for that. If I had a suggestion for the manufacturer, it would be to offer these with a set of insertable pads. After all, part of the healing process is to increase the angle as the tendons stretch. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Working alright for women's 6 1/2 after some trial and error. *by S***W on Reviewed in the United States on December 9, 2013* I wear a women's 6 1/2 and I felt like this was too big. I even requested a return, but discovered that it has a small inflated pad over the ankle area that when removed, made the foot strap fit closer to my arch whereas before it was just barely going around my toes.
