If your counter tops have just lost their lustre / sheen I would have thought it would be ok to use the Oki oil on them to bring back the colour or give them a light sanding first - hope that helps **Q: Can this be used in carbon steel kitchen knives or on stainless steel griddles?** A: As Papa Oki Mineral oil is a food-grade mineral oil it's probably the best oil you can use on your carbon steel knives. Other oils can build up a resin over time and get really sticky. Food-grade mineral oil doesn’t get that way. It’s always smooth and will help keep a good shine. It would work on your stainless steel griddle as well for the same reasons. After cleaning with a vinegar-based solution, rub oil onto the stainless steel surface–first wiping in the direction of the grain, then in a circular motion to polish and shine. The trick is to use gentle swipes, with the grain, then circular wipes to polish. **Q: Can I have a list of ingredients?** A: The bottle/packaging does include a conventional list of ingredients, it does however state the following "pure, food safe mineral oil blended with organic lemon and lime extracts"! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant product *by E***E on 9 March 2021* Ordered this oil after reading lots of positive reviews. Used the oil as directed on my beautiful wooden chopping board .... wow, what a difference, it brought the grain out really well and had a lovely sheen! I have to say it looks the best it’s ever looked even when new and given to me by a friend who is a joiner. We left the product on over 24 hours before buffing to a beautiful sheen. All the oil had absorbed into the wood, no sticky residue. The oil has a lovely light citrus smell. Very easy to use with brilliant results. Would definitely recommend this product. The aroma on it is so beautiful, gentle orange scent, just gorgeous. My chopping boards look like new afterwards. I lather it on, ( I drizzle some on, then rub it in all over both sides and ends etc with my fingers) leave overnight, then wipe down next morning to remove any excess. I use it on all my wooden utensils too, spoons etc. Brings the wood back to life. They seem to 'drink' it in. Brilliant product.
