Review: Better than our actual mattress!! - Purchased for company to stay with us in our apartment. I honestly had no idea they made air mattresses this tall until I saw a friend with one! My husband and I tested it out last night. We were both really impressed! 1. Really easy to inflate! First time having an internal air pump. No more forgetting the pump! The motor wasn’t nearly as loud as our previous air pump! I was able to talk to my husband and he could still hear me over the pump running. 2. Really comfortable and supportive! We chose not to inflate it fully so it contoured to our bodies better. We slept on the mattress with no sheets and I wasn’t able to feel the creases in the top which was nice. No issues with sagging and we both didn’t wake up smooshed in the middle. My husband got up in the middle of the night and I didn’t notice. So movement of the mattress is minimal! Easy to get on and off with the 22” height. 3. Easy to deflate! We followed the instructions for folding and we got it in the storage bag with no issues. Just make sure all of the air is out before you fold it. 4. High quality! We had both of our small dogs on this with us. I was afraid of their nails poking a hole but so far so good! Only a little bit of air leaked out but it could’ve been the material stretching out during the night. Cons: The pump does not shut off automatically when inflating or deflating. So keep an eye on it so it doesn’t overfill. The mattress does get cold at night. My husband and I both mentioned that in the morning. I had to roll up in my blanket to stay warm. I’ll try sheets on next time. In the summer it might not be that big of an issue. Ours came with one patch. Hopefully we won’t need to use it.
Review: Skeptical at first, but after first use (so far) it’s a solid product - I initially bought this to stay at my MIL’s senior community (to help her get settled), so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on it and I planned to leave it for other relatives that might want to visit. I expected it to be cheap-ish quality and probably not last through my two week stay. First off, set up was a breeze. I laid it out and started inflation and it took about 4-5 minutes to fully inflate. The motor made noise, but it’s to be expected from something like this—I can say that it wasn’t as noisy as our Costco-bought mattress. Second, it’s big—but that’s not a bad thing as much as I thought anyway after I saw it fully inflated. Turns out, for me, it’s a good thing. Our Costco mattress sits low to the floor and as it deflates a bit during the night, it’s tough to get up. This one (the 22” model and the largest one at this writing) is wonderful as I can sit on the edge of it and stand up easily. Your experience may be different, but for older folks it makes it really easy to get out of bed in the morning. How does it sleep? Well, since I was visiting by myself and my significant other wasn’t with me, I can only speak for a single sleeper. It was really comfortable! It did take a bit of tweaking though as I thought I would like it more firm as I like to side sleep. The first couple of nights were a bit rough as I tossed and turned a bit in my sleep—I found that I couldn’t get comfortable on my side. For the reviews that say that it deflates after sleeping on it, I can say that it did seem to lose some air after the first two nights. The manufacturer does state that it does “stretch” and not deflate. As I wanted to test that statement, I didn’t change the firmness of it by re-inflating it to where I had it. The third and fourth nights were better sleep and I didn’t feel like the mattress deflated at all, so I found the stretch statement to be valid—it wasn’t losing air. After that night, I re-inflated it to where I thought I’d like it. The next night was the same tossing and turning that I had those first two nights, so I concluded that I needed to make it less firm and I actually DEflated it a bit and for the rest of the stay it was perfect! I didn’t have to touch it and I even unplugged it. When I was getting ready to leave, I started the deflation process by turning the dial in the opposite direction. It took longer to deflate, so I walked away for a bit—I’d guess about 7-8 minutes. When I came back the mattress was flat as a pancake and ready to fold. This is the only hassle of the process as folding it to get it into the storage bag and back into the box (for storage). I do like the tote that they provide as the handles make it easy to lug about. So, the first use was a success. If repeated uses reveal issues, I’ll report back. I will say that I plan to buy another one to replace our beloved Costco air mattress—she’s showing her age and the height of this one as well as the cost make it a no-brainer to get it as a second. We’ll use this one until it dies (if it even does) and then fall back on our old one if needed. I gave an overall 5 stars for the product with 4 stars for sleep quality and comfort only because your idea of these two might be a bit of a learning experience until you find your inflation sweet spot—so it’s not just an “inflate fully and use” type of scenario.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What happens if you put too much air in it**
A: It has a pump built in and will not let you over-inflate.

**Q: How do you fill this with a regular battery powered air pump? I wan to take this camping. It appears you can only use the eletric built in pump?**
A: Inside the compartment where the cord is stored is another valve that can be used to pump up the air mattress with a manual pump or external battery powered pump. The issue is that this extra valve is right at the edge of the cord compartment and it may be difficult to get an external pump connected to this valve.

**Q: Does this mattress stop pumping air by itself when fully inflated or will it explode if too much air is pumped in?**
A: Once the mattress is full, the pump motor won't stop pumping, but it DOES NOT have the power to damage the mattress. You only need to shut the pump off when it is fully inflated or to your desired firmness.

**Q: Not inflating?**
A: One other thing to check. This has a really odd power switch. it is down INSIDE the dial that you turn to change it from intake/outtake. So if you turn the dial, it HIDES the switch. Flip the switch on BEFORE you turn the dial, and then set it to take air in, or push air out. I had a REALLY hard time finding that switch, until I used the proper procedure, HAHAHA. Then of course, after inflated, (about 3 1/2 minutes the first time you blow it up, so that it has room inside of it to stretch, without being overinflated) make sure to turn the dial back to neutral, and turn the switch off. Hope this helps :)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best airbed I have ever tried, none are even close.
*by A***X on February 8, 2026*

Very high quality materials. Extremely durable and well made. A previous airbed I had tried from a different brand, which was more expensive too, developed holes after about 3 months of normal nightly use and had me constantly trying to find the air leaks to patch them up with special glue. This airbed, however, I've had for a year and two months now and it has still not developed any holes at all, which has left me very impressed with its high quality build. The pump it comes with can actually be detached from the rest of the bed without damaging anything, but I am not quite sure what the purpose of this would be--perhaps to wash it more easily without damaging the electric pump? Recently it just started deflating to about 3/4 of its full volume per night of sleep, but yet there does not seem to be any puncture on the bed. I am attributing this to one of the rubber plugs in the pump compartment coming lose on it's own with time, so I just readjusted it and hopefully this will solve the issue. The airbed is also very comfortable when fully inflated, where it is solid (in a good relaxing way) but yet will comfortably adapt to one's body to provide very relaxing sleep. I found this airbed brand and model as a suggestion on reddit, after having had a disappointing experience with a different brand. Quite a few commenters swore on the high quality and durability of this model and now I find myself agreeing with them. I would highly recommend this airbed and would without second thought buy again if I ever need to.
