No matter how wind proof it is, the pants hug you. 60mph + wind will transfer hot or cold to your legs or what not. Length is spot on. Pockets are great. Wind zippers. Great . But I wish I wasn't a dummy and I wish I ordered a 38 or 40 waist and 32 length...... I got the 36 waist 32 length. The knee pads and hip pads make a huge difference riding in the cold night !!!!!!!!!! Knees and hips aren't cold at all!!!!! I'm not going to be a jerk and return the pants because of my mistake. I have a 16' Indian Chief Vintage so storage space is limited, but with several attempts, got em tightly rolled up enough to store em with an HWK "all wx, waterproof, hi vis jkt, which I highly recommend as well! The construction is high quality, worth more than the $60 price. Combined with the jacket, I have a $120 rain suit far superior to the Indian product costing $180! The fit...I ordered the 38"-40" W x 30"L for my 5'6" 170 lb frame w/ 36" W and 30" L (typical jean size for me) and they're a little big, but the W and L straps snug it up nicely with room for expansion of my now retired and chubby little old guy body. I'm retired Military and now recently retired LEO and have always sought the best of the best, so my choices in safety gear, in particular mc items is very methodic and well researched! As an added cautionary measure i gave both pants and jacket a good spraying of "Scotch Guard" water repellent, which I've used in the past with great results and highly recommend.
