The wing nuts for securing and adjusting the raised drawing board are fiddly to use (particularly when you have it set up but want to adjust the angle a fraction), and some of the fittings were a little corroded, or otherwise damaged, in some way when I opened the box, but they do the job. When the drawing board is raised at an angle, it's sturdy enough for me, but it might be a bit wobbly if you like to press hard when you're painting/drawing.My main problem with it is that the fixing for the extension arm doesn't lie flush with the drawing board. so you don't have a flat surface. That's fine if you work on mounted canvas, but you'll have problems with any board or paper that's flat on the back. The best solution is to dispense with the extending arm.
