I didn't use them for wrapping but I think they would be fine for that purpose.  I purchased gold and silver both are quality items. The gold does not rub off. Recommend

A: The bead will stay on as long as the bead hole is not larger than the ball on the head pin but most 6 mm beads will not slide over the ball.
