It comes rolled in a box that seems impossibly small for a queen size mattress. They include a great little tool to safely open the plastic that the mattress is enclosed in. Once you do it inflates almost immediately. I let it inflate only 12 hrs or so because I had to sleep on it and it was fine. I've had memory foam mattresses in the past that were uncomfortably hot but I dont have that issue with this mattress. Its soft and supportive. Very comfortable. But not to the point of making the whole room or house smell. Neither did they smell like mold and mildew.
