The type with the press on lids seem to be really hard for her to get on/off by herself. I bought these because I was hoping the lids would 1. be easier to get on/off by herself and 2. be leak-proof. The size of these containers is perfect for kids lunches. I've used it for yogurt and fruit so far. While it is a bit easier for her to get the lids on and off, they are not leak-proof. They are okay for thicker yogurts but fruit juice definitely finds a way to escape. I tested one container by filling with water and holding it sideways with the lid on (like it is stored in her lunchbox). There was a definite drip, drip, drip of water leaking out.
