Baby Bath Mat Non Slip for Kids - Size 27" x 15" - 144 Suction Cups - Anti Skid Baby Bathtub Mat - Great Summer Gift

Like other reviewers, I paid for my mat. It is super cute, but nonfunctional as it does not stick to the tub. We have a plain, white bath tub that came with the house when it was built in 2004 - it is a clean tub so that is not the issue. I've tried to stick it to a wet floor, to a dry floor - it does not stay put. I've tried to get the back suction cups wet - no luck. I thought it was because it was rolled when received so we've put it under a rug to "flatten it out" - still it will not stick. It does not serve a purpose because it floats up when you add water to the tub, so you plop baby on top of it - but as soon as baby tried to move - so does the mat. Cute, so he likes to look at it. We now just put it on the floor in the bathroom so that he can "play with the animals" while we are in the bathroom. Also, it does have a slight odor when you first get it.

The only thing I didn't like was the smell that it had the first week - even after scrubbing it. The smell is gone now and my son loves sitting on this in the bathtub. Just a caution to anyone who has a beveled tub, since we already have the "non-slip" bumps in the tub itself - this does not stick to the bottom but I can stick it to the side of the tub so it still works. Not sure how many people have this issue but I just thought I should mention it.

Adorable baby bath mat! Makes the bathtub a lot safer! This is the most adorable baby bath mat that we have ever seen! This mat works exactly as described and keeps my daughter from slipping or sliding in the bathtub. All the little suction cups hold it securely in place so it's not going any where. The baby bathtub mat is padded and textured and the pictures of this product demonstrates this well. My little daughter loves the bright colors of this bathtub mat! I am so happy that this bathmat looked exactly as pictured as it matches perfectly with our bathroom. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase. It's a beautiful addition to play time during baths and makes the bathtub a lot safer! I would definitely recommend this to other moms!

This is very cute and would have been so great for our tub! However, I failed to read the small print that this is not suitable for textured bathtubs. So - sadly this does not work with our tub. Can't fault them for that - I didn't read it! However, I took 1 star off because it does have a strong smell to it. I washed it twice, let it air dry outside for hours, and my husband still asked what smelled upstairs before he knew it was in our baby's bathtub. (I tried to use on the side of the tub that wasn't textured, but that didn't work out that well.)

This mat is super cute, nice sized and fits well in standard tubs. However, It absolutely reeks when you open it! Out bathroom had a skunk smell from it, even after washing it. I ran it through the clothes washer with some towels and it smells a little better....but I had to re wash the towels as they took on the smell of the mat! :(

I am very happy with this bath mat!Not everyone wants an ocean themed bath mat, and this design is so cute! I read other complaints about a strong plastic smell, but mine did not have that at all.Would highly recommend!

I like the design and the vivid colors on the mat, but its definitely NOT Non Skid.It's actually very slippery, I had both my kids slide on it and felt a few times. I ended up using it as a table mat for the kids and in educational purposes.

The mat was bright and colorful; however, it was my no means non-slip as is stated in the name. The mat was more slippery than the bare tub floor. The first and only time we used it, both my 2 and 4 year old slipped while taking a bath, nearly hurting themselves. In fact, my 4 year old thought it was a fun game to slide around on her tushy. The main purpose for a bath mat is safety; this product failed at providing that.
