I have had so much trouble and wasted so much of my money buying new tweezers every so often at Walgreens or Target (although there is one pair at target that does work well for me) and these work the absolute best and the way they are supposed to!Previous purchases include about 3 tweezers at Walgreens (unfortunately I don't remember the brand) and they either didn't pluck my hairs out, the angle was off so it was incredibly difficult to maneuver with my hand (twirling it every which way) and even if they grabbed hold of my hairs they let go, didn't pinch well, or pinched so hard they broke all my hairs in half and DIDN'T EVEN PLUCK. I'm sure many of you can share my frustration. I was sad to have to spend 3 times as long plucking my eyebrows and pinching myself and cutting myself trying to do a faster better job. I see in the mirror too, I go for a hair, and the tweezer shape misses, the sharpness attacks my skin, or I didn't get it anywhere near the base. But I know I aimed right!Anyway, these tweezers rule. They come with two sizes, one is average full palm tweezer length and the other is shorter like the size of a pinky. They do not pinch at my skin no matter how close I get (far out-performing many evil slicing tweezers) and they pluck each and every hair I want and aim at. I have had a lot of practice so I know that I can get through a plucking session relatively quickly, and the fact that these tweezers do what I want when I want is a godsend. I just tweezed yesterday when I got them, it took me 5 minutes, and I felt beautiful again-especially since I didn't nick myself once. They took such good care of my face. I thought I would get a better pair of tweezers than the ones we have had for years. They were just your standard tweezers and I thought they worked fine. Boy was I mistaken.Build:These tweezers have an incredible surface area for the clasping function. Instead of a tiny point at the end you have the whole width of the the tip. They appear to be solidly built and come with a protective cover for the tip.Use:As I stated you have a much greater surface area to work with and this is a big plus. The cover is handy especially if you keep in a bag or purse. I say that because the pointed end of the tip is SHARP. I actually poked my finger once with these so I am more careful now.If you are looking for a quality pair of tweezers I would highly recommend these. I had the best pair and they were ruined by someone using them for something that which they were not intended to be used for. As also stated, they will get even the finest small hairs that only you can see in a 10x magnifying mirror!!My upper lip and brows have never looked so clean and hairless. The mini tweezers are exactly the same but smaller and fit nicely in any size purse or makeup bag. If you are wanting a nice set of tweezers then these are them. The price is just about right as well. I have purchased about 10 pair in the last year and some were $2 and some we $27 and they are not even worth the metal they are made from.
