I have even used it as a flat head screw driver in a pinch several times. It stays fair sharp but I dull it often with the abuse it put it through. The lockup has stayed solid and the bearings as still fairly smooth. I get a lot of grit in it that I have to blow out occasionally then put a drop of oil in the pivot. There is still no side play in the pivot and I have never had any of the screws get loose. I can't speak for the durability of the pocket clip that came on it because I removed it on day one and never used it.
