It comes very close! We bought this for our cruise ship bathroom and it worked very well! We have continued to use it at home even though we have very good fans in the bathroom. As the container runs lower, the spray is harder to operate properly - you have to hold the bottle as upright as possible deep down in the toilet bowl. If they found a way to keep the spray hose attached to one edge, then the angled spraying would be much easier.
