The bolt holes line up allowing for a secure bolted connection to the arduino, but the pin headers are of a high enough quality that there is little to no concern of them coming apart accidentally anyways. The terminal screws are easy to access, turn easily, and provide a solid grip on the wires. The labeling on the terminal blocks is second to none, and makes prototyping, testing, and manufacturing of an arduino system an absolute breeze in comparison to breadboards, soldering, or plain pin headers.
