A wall switch is required to turn on/off the unit. **Q: Is there a backdraft Damper on the unit?** A: Yes, the SE90TM comes with 4 and 6 inch duct adapter and both with backdraft damper **Q: What would be the sound level (sones) if i used a duct connector that reduces the duct size from 6 to 3 inches?** A: Good question. We are sorry that we don't have sones data from testing lab for using 3 inch duct. Reducing 6 inch duct to 3 inch sounds like only reducing half but the actual throughput reduced is 4 times.
