Is easy to fill and I like the holder. They are metal and glass, which are much sturdier and look nice on the table; not cheap-looking like plastic. The stainless lids keep them fresh and look nice as well. I use one for sea salt and one for dried spicy garlic. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ these are a pretty good set with the added bonus of the holding rack *by A***R on June 29, 2016* Ceramic adjustable grind salt and pepper mills are great, and these are a pretty good set with the added bonus of the holding rack, which my wife is very fond of. This allows her to more easily set the table and clear the table with a single hand for the salt and pepper mills. It is a small luxury, but still there.The glass on these mills is thinner than most that I have reviewed and the first set I received has a bubble on the outside of the glass which had sharp edges. I contacted the seller and they were concerned and stated they would contact their manufacturer to see where the failure to catch the flaw arose and then offered to replace the set, with the option to simply buy a second set at the same discount.I have received the second set, and this one is flawless. the glass is still thinner than many other brands, which has benefits and cost. The benefit is that it is much lighter and a larger interior area for the salt or pepper. The cost is that they will be more fragile. There should be nothing to worry about them being fragile unless you drop them to the floor. With thick ceramic tiles, pretty much anything glass that hits my floor, no matter how durable, is going to break, so being fragile is less of a burden to me. People with wood floors might increase their risk of breakage with this thinner material.All in all this is the same quality of most mills on the market, with ceramic grinders, stainless steel caps, adjustable coarseness, the difficulty to to actually grind the salt or pepper is the same as every other one I have used in the same size category and so forth. So, with that in mind, the choice to buy this over other brands would be the desire for the carry rack or wanting lighter weight grinders and of course price concerns.I received this item and its replacement at a discount for my honest review.I could have returned the first one for a full refund, but they gave the option to allow me to keep it and get a second one shipped by amazon again at the same discount, which is the path I chose. ### ⭐⭐ I liked the set but... *by I***N on May 10, 2016* I really liked the look and function of these grinders, and having the included stand was a nice bonus. Unfortunately, one of the grinders became defective after three weeks of using it. The metal band that covers the end of the grinder detached from the plastic housing beneath it, so whenever the end of the grinder was rotated, only the metal ban would rotate and not the plastic unit that rotates the grinder.
