**Q: what is the length of the screws?**
A: Some sellers include mounting hardware some do not.  The ones I bought did come with screws and they were 1/2 long.  Worked great for my project.

A: They are angled.  The foot is in line with the bend of the “L” of the base.

I was really surprised at the quality of these legs, very sturdy indeed and they look amazing. Also used door handles from Amazon to match instead of the IKEA standard ones. I only used 4 screws instead of 5 because I lined the legs up with the screws in the corners to make sure they didn't go into the hollow bits and not be sturdy. My top tip is to mark out where each hole needs to be and make a start on a couple of holes first to make sure you can easily screw them into place.
