The listing says 33.5x28x10.5 yet 60x24 was the answer on another posting.** A: The answer saying that the inside dimensions are only 58x19.25 inches is completely inaccurate for this product. The inside dimensions are definitely 60x24 inches - I JUST measured it. Now the corners are rounded so you'll have some unusable space if you are placing squared off items in it, but that makes sense and I imagine one would not be able to play "tetras" perfectly while packing this thing no matter the case. **Q: How much weight is it rated to carry?** A: 500 lbs is just not accurate. I only had 210 lbs and the weight was evenly distributed. The Shank between the receiver and the pivot joint twisted like a piece of rope! This was only the second time that I had used the basket and it was only 4 months old. WHEN I CALLED CURT ABOUT THE PROBLEM THEY REFUSED TO COVER THE PART UNDER WARRANTY AND STATED THAT I MUST HAVE HAD ALL OF THE WEIGHT ON ONE SIDE! THUS IT WAS NOT USED PROPERLY AND THEY WILL NOT COVER IT UNDER WARRANTY. WARNNING : THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT FOR CURT RATES A NEGATIVE 10 IF SUCH A RATEING WAS POSSIBLE. **Q: Is the measurement 60x24 the inside or outside measurements** A: The usable INSIDE dimensions of the basket are 58" x 19 1/4" x 5 1/2". All other dimensions are outside, including brackets, etc. The shipping weight is 59 pounds. **Q: Does this come with the cargo bag?** A: No, it does not come with a cargo bag. I purchased the Apex RBG-04 Extra Large Water Proof bag separate on Amazon. It was about $66 It fit the Curt basket like a glove. Held luggage for 3 couples for a trip to the cruise ship terminal. We caught heavy rain on the way home, and nothing had a drop of water inside the cargo bag.
