The pump works really well without making any sound and you even get 2 filters from the first purchase. My kitty loves it and is now drinking a lot of water and I can rest assured that he is getting fresh clean water everyday!I love that it comes with different presets for water delivery and we chose the infrared induction mode which turns on when the kitty is within 1.5m and turns off after a couple of minutes to save energy. The HoneyGuaridan water fountain is exactly that! The infra-red sensor ensures the pump is not running continuously (saving energy) and the colorful light hues are calming and attractive. Obviously you can change the pump settings as instructed in the manual. Our pet was apprehensive and curious at first, but now enjoys the water flow and drinks a healthy amount (however, we didn't have an issue with our cat not drinking enough to start with).
