I have looked at a lot of different heaters and used several different ones over the years and this is one, if not the best water heater I have used. It is fairly similar in design to many I have used; heat settings in both English and metric units, completely water proof, warranty, and long electrical cable. The one thing I peculiarly like about this product is it has an optional, plastic, cover that helps protect the glass of the heater from damage. The only other heater I can compare to this one is a titanium hater I had to use at one point.Pros:- Very durable- Seems very reliable- Plastic outer shellCons:- Dial to adjust heat is directly on top and can be difficult to adjust if submerged ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Steady heat, adjustable, less than 50% of the purchase price of a similar one in a pet store! *by B***A on July 2, 2016* So far so good! I'm not too concerned with it but the other style is easier to set the template then this one is. Will update review after a few months of use.After having this 300 watt heater in my 45 gallon tank that I'm starting to cycle for 48 hours, I feel it will not support a 75 gallon tank as it described it the ad. I can not get my tank to 90degrees Fahrenheit for my cycle process. In a 70 degree room it is only able to heat to around 84 degrees. I'm sure once I'm done the cycle it will hold at 78 degrees but until then I will put another one in the tank to help out.Update:2-9-17 it doesn't work anymore. Won't even heat a 5 gallon bucket of water to room temperature. Don't waste your money.
