Why not make them magnetically seal together? or velcro, zipper, buttons, etc? I'm sure you had reasons behind it and I know it doesn't require it for the waterproofing. Just a suggestion. This actually looks and "wears" like a backpack, but loads and functions as a dry bag. 30L is the perfect daypack size, or for ultralight, multi-day backpacking in the tropics. The material is thick and fairly heavy, so it appears durable, a fair trade for the weight. My advice is to buy this ONLY if you need a dry bag for an extended period of time and want to keep your hands free.
