Warranty is 3 years. If you have ability/skilll to replace your traditional hardisk with SSD, you can feel the different performance is increasing considerably fast. If you think you want to return, it means you have no skill to transfer your operating system from old hard drive to the new SSD. To me, SSD is a must in 2021. 3 years warranty is more than enough. Finally it arrived next day and used in a USB 3 Enclosure. Performs fast at consistent speed of around 105 MBs for large file transfers. Considering the price, this a great performance. The casing is metallic finish and feels good. Will recomend this for people loking for performance at affordable price. There will be more faster drives, but few seconds will not make that great difference. TIP: In USB Enclosure, right click properties - Policies -and enable Disk Caching to improve data transfer. It makes a very big difference.
